About Dr. chrissy Young

Dr. Young obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University in 2014. She graduated from Chestnut Hil College in 2016 with a master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, with a concentration in children and adolescent psychology. In 2021, Dr. Young graduated from William James College with a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. She completed her pre-doctooral internship with Wellpath at the Maine Department of Corrections in 2021. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship with the Center of Excellence for Children, Families, and the Law in 2022.

Dr. Young has experience conducting individual and group therapy, administering/scoring/interpreting various psychological assessments and measures, conducting child custody evaluations, and conducting court-ordered evaluations for youth and families involved in the court system.
